WINEMAKING

Thermo-conditioned steel tanks play a central role in the winemaking of all the wines produced by Antica Hirpinia.
Cleaning and temperature control during fermentation, both for whites and reds, are indeed the most important practices for producing high-quality wines, as the true strength lies in the grapes.

AGING

Only the two Taurasi wines undergo a wood aging process, with part in barriques and tonneaux, and part in large barrels. Both whites and reds, on the other hand, spend a few months in vitrified cement tanks (a great asset of the winery) after the aging process. This step significantly contributes to improving the blends of the various batches before bottling.

BOTTLING

The modern bottling line ensures that the quality of the wines remains unchanged over time, reaching the customers' tables in perfect condition.

STORAGE

All the wines of Antica Hirpinia rest in the bottle for a varying period before being released for sale, in order to reach a drinking balance that allows for immediate consumption, while still being able (at least some) to be enjoyed with increasing pleasure even after years.
