PAST

The history of the winery began in 1959 when the social winery was founded, which in 1972 became "Enopolio di Taurasi." The need for many small winegrowers was to find a commercial outlet for their grapes, which would otherwise be sold at prices too low to be profitable. The social winery prevented the uprooting of many vineyards, saving an ancient heritage of biodiversity and preserving the viticultural heritage of the area. It is this choice that today allows for plants over 100 years old and the ability to harvest cuttings for new plantings, thus preserving an irreplaceable heritage.

PRESENT

Today, Antica Hirpinia is a private winery led by a group of three friends who took it over in 2016. They joined their forces, their vineyards, and their lives to realize the dream they share: to produce wines that represent their land and tell the story of their passion for it.

FUTURE

To pursue this goal, the partners personally commit themselves in different roles and surround themselves with skilled professionals who can guide them towards an increasingly high-quality project.

THE EMPLOYEES

Here is the translation in English: For a company to function, the contribution of every single individual is important.
The company agrees with the saying: "If you want to go fast, go alone, but if you want to go far, go together."
