This story began in 1959 with the creation of the first wine cooperative in Taurasi.

In 1992 the cellar, already called Antica Hirpinia, bottled the bottle number 00000001 of Taurasi DOCG.

Today Antica Hirpinia is a private cellar led by a group of friends who took it over in 2016. They have combined their strengths, their vineyards and their lives to realize a dream that they have always shared: to produce wines able to communicate the strength and the intensity of their land, together with the vitality that burst from their passion for wine.
